Restorative

Teeth are susceptible to decay and fractures. Sometimes procedures are needed for teeth  to be restored back to health.

Should you ever need a restoration, the treatments you will receive in Dr. Smith's calm and comfortable office will be given with the most up-to-date materials and procedures currently available.

Composites are white and natural looking materials made of resins; they bond to the teeth structure which make beautifull restorations. This esthetic material is used in anterior and posterior teeth that may have decay, chips, or fractures.

Crowns are an esthethic full protection to teeth that have suffered a large fracture or have an extensive filling. The result is a beautiful look with full function restored.

Onlays and inlays are restorations that are custom made of composite resin, porcelain or gold. They are permanently cemented to the problem tooth. Both are great conservative procedures for teeth with large defective fillings, a large cavity, or fracture.

Bridges are an excellent way to replace missing teeth. A Bridge is a fixed, custom made appliance and is usually fabricated of porcelain or a conbination of porcelain and metal. They improve the bite which helps  digestion and prevents future dental drifting.
